The Triple A Creative Workshop

A sculpture, as Michaelangelo put it, is a piece of art trapped
inside a block of marble.
And an artist just chips off the excesses.

The AAAI is delighted that perhaps for the first time in recent years the Association's Training & Professional Development Committee, under the able Chairmanship of Mr Ram Sehgal, planned and implemented an unique 10-session, 30-hour experience called THE BLOCK - The Triple A Creative Workshop. Together the ten sessions enabled mid-level Creatives to qualify and aspire to be Creative Directors.

Ten top creative people from the world of advertising and advertising film production were the faculty for this workshop.

They shared their personal experiences, showcased their star campaigns and covered the following subjects:
Extracting a provocative brief
Selling a creative campaign internally and to the client
Connecting with the consumer's heart
Creating for Sales
Creating for Awards
Common Pitfalls
The format and syllabus of this Workshop was arrived at so as to bring out the participants' own creativity and help them develop a point of view.

Mr Mohammed Khan conducted the inaugural session on March 27, 2004.
