Cornerstone Communications' entry adjudged the best logo

Cornerstone Communications' entry adjudged the best logo from India for CAAAA in the first screening of Symbol Mark Competition by AAAI.

The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI), a member of
Confederation of Asian Advertising Agency Associations (CAAAA) has announced the results of the first screening of Symbol Mark Competition for CAAAA held in Mumbai.

Jay Gadave and Judith Varma of Cornerstone Communications Pvt Ltd were adjudged the winners in this national creative initiative taken by AAAI. Out of the 70 entries received the judges unanimously chose the winning Symbol Mark.

For this contest, AAAI had invited original Symbol Mark entries, unpublished and not similar to any existing symbol marks and designs. The winning entry is being sent to CAAAA for second screening for Symbol Mark Competition in Japan, where it will compete with nine entries from different countries of Asia.

The best work will be awarded the Grand Prize of US$ 1,000 and adopted as the CAAAA Symbol Mark and there will be up to eight Nomination Prizes of US$ 300 each. The final award will be given in October 2007.

Vinod Nair, AAAI Executive Committee Member and currently in charge of this initiative of the AAAI, was the Convener of the Jury. For the judging process, Mr Narayan Kumar, Executive Director, TBWA Anthem Pvt Ltd and Mr K V Sridhar, National Creative Director, Leo Burnett India Pvt Ltd were the jury members.
