Mr Goutam Rakshit, Managing Director, Advertising
Avenues
Mumbai, July 21, 2005:
Mr Goutam Rakshit, Managing
Director, Advertising Avenues, was presented
with the AAAI-Premnarayen Award, the highest
honour given to an individual in India for
his outstanding contribution to the advertising
industry.
The AAAI President, Mr
Srinivasan K Swamy, presented the award
to Mr Rakshit at a glittering ceremony held
at The Hilton Towers, Mumbai attended by
industry stalwarts and luminaries.
The Premnarayen Awards
were instituted in the year 1988 by the
Advertising Agencies Association of India
as the highest honour to be given to an
individual in India for his outstanding
contribution to the advertising industry.
Mr Goutam Rakshit is the 17th recipient
of the prestigious award from the Advertising
industry. Over the years, beginning with
Subhas Ghosal, sixteen trailblazing captains
of the advertising industry have been awarded
the AAAI-Premnarayen Trophy in recognition
and acknowledgement of their achievements;
and Mr Goutam Rakshit joins the illustrious
ranks of advertising stalwarts like Mr Bal
B Mundkur, Mr K Kurian, Mr S R Ayer, Mr
Alyque Padamsee, Mr Sylvester daCunha, Mr
M K Khanna, (Late) Prof. Subroto Sengupta,
(Late) Mr Ravi Gupta, (Late) Mr R K Swamy,
Mr A G Krishnamurthy, Mr Mohammed Khan,
Mr Gerson daCunha, Mr Walter Saldanha, Diwan
Arun Nanda and Prem Mehta all of who are
past recipients of this award. The award,
presented annually, recognizes the individual
contribution in the following areas: |
