Mudra team wins the
AAAI-Cannes Young Lions Creative Competition
2010
Pradeep Ravindran (Art Director) and
Shruti Sadani (Copy Writer) of Mudra Communications,
Bangalore were adjudged the winners in
the national creative initiative taken
by the Advertising Agencies Association
of India (AAAI) and supported by THE TIMES
GROUP.
Announcing the result of AAAI-Cannes Young
Lions Creative Competition 2010, Vinod
Nair, convener of this Competition stated,
“THE TIMES GROUP and Advertising
Agencies Association of India are giving
a rare opportunity to young creatives
in India to participate in Cannes Lions
and compete with the very best young talent
in the world”.
In all 200 entries on the theme ‘Don't
buy animal-tested products’ were
received. In the two-phased judging, Ravi
Deshpande, Chief Creative Officer, Contract
Advertising; Ramanuj Shastry, National
Creative Director, Saatchi & Saatchi
and Adrian Mendonza, Creative Partner,
Dentsu India were jury members.
It is a matter of pride that the Mudra
Communications team which AAAI has selected
through this Competition will be the official
Indian team to take part in the Young
Lions Creative Competition 2010 at Cannes
Lions. The winning team will be flying
off to the Cannes Advertising Festival
in June to participate in the prestigious
International Young Lions Creative Competition.
THE TIMES GROUP, the Official Festival
Representatives of Cannes in India, will
bear all the expenses of the wining teams'
trip to Cannes.
