The IBF-AAAI Joint Working Committee (JWC) was formed in June 2001. Since then, there has been one meeting a month on a regular basis.

Mr Srinivasan Swamy took over the Chairmanship of the IBF-AAAI JWC on 22nd February 2002 with aplomb. His eye for detail is well known. With tremendous commitment and tireless efforts, the relationship between IBF and AAAI members is now on very solid ground. Mr Swamy has brought to the table a very smooth working arrangement that has resulted in things humming along at a fair clip.

It is a matter of pride for the Association that in spite of the fact that the IBF-AAAI Agreement provides for appointment of Chairman by rotation, Mr Srinivasan Swamy continues to be the Chairman of the Joint Committee for the 5th year in succession; a distinctive recognition that he has done an admirable, responsible and unbiased job for the Committee.
