Ajmera, the Young Creatives Team
of JWT, Mumbai were adjudged the winning
team in the national creative initiative
taken by the Advertising Agencies Association
of India (AAAI), this year.
The team will be the official Indian representatives
to attend the prestigious ADFEST
Young Lotus Workshop and guests
at the ADFEST, Asia Pacific Advertising
Festival, to be held during 17-21
March 2009 in Pattaya, Thailand.
This winning team will be flown to Pattaya
by 16th March 2009, courtesy Akbar
Holidays, one of India's largest
travel companies.
The AAAI organized this national contest
among AAAI Member Agencies and invited entries
on the theme 'Don’t drink
and drive'. More than 100 entries
received from various advertising agencies
in India were judged by Josy Paul,
Chairman & National Creative Director,
BBDO India, K S Chakravarthy,
National Creative Director, DRAFTFCB+Ulka
and Bobby Pawar, National
Creative Director, Mudra Communications.
Announcing the results Vinod Nair,
Convener of the Contest and CEO, Network
Advertising said that he was delighted with
the unanimous choice of the judges and hoped
that the team will bring laurels to India
at the ADFEST being held later this year.
